Through our services centre in West Sussex, we often have customer bring in a VAX carpet washer or Bissell carpet washer for repair. When we asked them what’s wrong with the machine, most of the time the answer is the same. I just lent my machine to my friend and now it does not work.
My advice to you is that if you spent a few hundred pounds on Bissell or Vax carpet washer DON’T lend it out.

Builders kill vacuum cleaners

We it’s that time to get the workmen in to sort those walls out, let’s have them plastered and painted.
Workmen finished and they ask to use your Dyson vacuum cleaner, that’s ok you say. But wait why don’t you ask them to use their own?
For many years I was an electrician in Rustington Sussex and always carried my own Henry vacuum cleaner. I would use this instead of the customers. Now as a vacuum cleaner service engineer at Margin Services I always get in those cleaners that are blocked and especially Dysons with dead motors. And guess what, they have just had some works done and the workmen used the customers cleaner. Some of the very fine dust has got to areas that have badly affected the machine and some have even killed the vacuum.
So remember, don’t let the workman use your cleaner.

Where can you go to get the answers to those 'how do i do it' questions. Well the internet is a good place to start. At Margin Servces in Rustington we service vacuums and floor care machines. We also repair table and standard lamps. Why keep all those little tips behind closed doors. Not going to say we have the answers to everything, in fact there is loads of things we won't know, but someone will.
